I’m documenting my first year living in Maryland by photographing the places, cities, and events I experience for the first time. From nearby trips into Washington, DC to quiet Maryland streets and regional events, this ongoing photography project captures my introduction to the Maryland–DC area and the East Coast through cityscape, travel, and street photography.

These photographs are about discovery, presence, and learning a place by walking through it with a camera.
